Mannosuke

Yamagata soba restaurant in Sendai [Soba Restaurant Mannosuke] is located off the main road in a well-developed residential area north-northwest of central Sendai. The restaurant used to be a Showa-era farmhouse on the edge of a mountain with fields. The parking lot is large enough to park about a dozen cars in front of the garden. There was a garden with plants in front of the store. I ordered tempura soba noodles and soba noodles. Pickled pickles and soba tea were served. Ground soba noodles The soba is dark country soba. This type of soba is ground soba, and is thick, slightly hard, and has a strong flavor, as opposed to the thin and smooth ones like Sarashina. This is soba that is often served in Yamagata Prefecture. I thought the Kamo Soba could have had a little more duck flavor. The tempura plate soba noodles were crispy and freshly fried and delicious. The time of visit was around 2pm. Almost full of customers. The seats next to me were so close that there was no partition. I was a little worried because the measures to prevent the coronavirus were using rubbing alcohol and ventilation. I'm glad that the customers ate their meals quietly and with good manners. Indeed, I thought the quality of the people who paid for the rather expensive meals was high quality. Mannosuke is a hidden soba restaurant. It was a popular shop.
